What kind of beach do you like, and why?

I have enjoyed black sand, white sand, and pink sand beaches. Which is your favorite?

One that will buy me dinner for a change and put out afterward . . . . OH!  you said BEACH!   I like white sand best. . . . .  and yes, I know that was horrible but i couldnt resist:)

golden sand of pagudpud in Philippines.

A fairly small settlement of towering coconuts, tiny stores, humble nipa houses and empty market.

The town looks peaceful like any other rural communities in the Philippines.

It doesn't matter about the colour of the sand as long as it is nice clean soft sand (no pebbles or coral bits), nice clean unpolluted water, there are hardly any other people on it, no traffic nearby, no MacDonalds/Wendy's/Baskin Robins etc. nearby (that is a really bad sign),  no jet skies offshore, no cordoned off areas where people have to pay to sit on the beach.......I could go on and on.

There are a lot of famous beaches that are very over-rated.... and yet they are crowded.   Very weird.

The White Sand Beaches on the Gulf Coast -- but I especially enjoy the beaches on my Local Military Base (Military Recreation Sites) -- because they are clean, they are not crowded, I don't have to deal with the trash/mess and ... as a Military Retiree ... I like the comaraderie of being around a site where there are others who have also served (or are serving).
