What kind of bee-like insect has a thin tube thing before the stinger part?

  1. ichnuemon wasp. The thin tube thing is an organ called an ovipositor. The ovipositor is used to lay eggs on an unfortunate isect. The eggs will hatch and the wasp larvae will the the insect from the inside out. Yeah, it's gross, I know that.
