What kind of bee was it?

I saw this bee today and I want to find out what type of bee it was. I will describe the best I can...It was about an inch long, black shiny longated huge body with yellow stripes on each side of the body, huge black stinger, 6 or more legs, and red upper body and head. This mutant bee was like nothing I've ever seen. What was this thing? It was also attached to this moth type thing stinging it over and over again.
