  1. I vote for anything German.  Beck's Dark, Spaten Optimator, Dinkel Acker dunkel weisse...

  2. You're going to want to look for a Pilsner, Pale Lager or Pale Ale. Something that can match the taste of the sauerkraut.

    Pilsner:

    Pilsner Urquell

    Sierra Nevada Summerfest Lager

Bell's Beer (Don't think this one is made anymore)

    Lager:

    Straub

    PBR

    Leinenkugel's Original

    Yuengling

    Dale's Pale Ale

    Pale Ale:

    Sierra Nevada Pale Ale

    Samuel Adams Boston Ale

    Dale's Pale Ale

    Dale's Pale Ale

In most of these the hops profile is mellowing and will have great complementary effect to the sour/bitter k***t.

  3. Probably a Lager

  4. Any good proper german beer. Not lager.

  5. Lagers are best... Czechvar is great (Its named Budvar in any other nation than the US) with sauerkraut.  Pilsners are also good, something light but hoppy.

  6. I go with a Pils usually. But I do also try a Kolsch with it at times.

Here is one choice of several brewed in the USA.

    -Middle Selection-

  7. Heineken is the best beer to boil your brauts in, and a cold hieny goes great with k***t.
