all around the house in 2 or 3 places but especially way up high in the pitch of the roof, the upside down v shape. I read that bumble bees or honey bees only make hives in trees or tree trunks, inside the cracks of trees etc.. I don't know if what I see is a bee hive but I have seen multiple bees going into the window casings and hanging around pollanting the flowers near the house. I have caputered 4 bees within the last day and a half. They looked really big crawling on the curtain but inside the window sill it looked fat like a bumble bee and 1 that was caught in a pitcher looked like it got smaller and curled up. Could they be carpenter bees (if we even have them here) or some other kind of bee? Since honey bees don't go only in trees they must be ruled out.
