I took my friend to an Indian restaurant, hoping to have a good time. She ordered a generous entree, and a main course. The food was beautifully presented. Then, suddenly, as she began eating, she began to look pale, and hunched over, in pain. She complained of feeling hot, and funny, and looked as though, she couldn't breathe. I tried to ignore her, so I could enjoy my own meal, but she looked very unwell. I offered to take her home, but she started to threaten me, saying that she would make a "scene", if I tried to make her leave. Yet, even when she stood up, she looked like she was buckling over, in pain. She assured me she could still "make the movie", and it was only because her jeans were too tight, yet, when she was eating she looked hunched over, and struggling, and as though she might be ill.

Was she really alright? Then, she started to belch, in public, but even as I was driving her home, she looked as though she might collapse, and be sick.

  1. it could have been from the food, maybe it was not ok for her, she was not used to it. but she wanted not to ruin everything, or maybe she even hoped she'd be better and she even seems to have wanted this going out and didn't want to end it by going home.

  2. I think the food was not suiting her, she was new to the

spicy indian food. She did not admit it because perhaps

she wanted to spend the evening with you. You just

call and enquire her whether she is alright now and

    nothing seriously wrong.

  3. she is hiding something from you.

  4. Something in the food didn't agree with her. There are many spices and different foods in Indian food. If you're not used to eating it, it can cause a violent reaction. Your friend is stubborn to the point that she will ignore her health. You were right to be concerned. Hopefully your friend is fine now, but I would stay away from Indian food for a while.

  5. i think she ate too much, or the difference in the foods she ate as compared to those she was used to didn't sit well with her. i am assuming she didn't want to be a downer and ruin your time by making you take her home. that or she doesn't get to get out much, and really wanted to spend the time out...that, or she was just being ignorant and disrespectful.. which it doesn't really sound like.
