  1. that is ludicrous

  2. You don't "get benefits". You "qualify for aid". Big difference.

You can qualify to live in Section 8 housing. Imagine the worst apartment you ever saw, and then make it 5x worse.

You can qualify to recieve food stamps.

You can qualify for medical assistance. Only certain doctors accept it though.

You can qualify for cash assistance once the baby is born, but the amount won't even cover the cost of disposable diapers per month.

You can qualify for free formula for your baby through WIC, but then you have to sit around at a boring office for 2 hours every three months getting information that everyone with half an ounce of common sense already knows.

Hardly seems worth it. Most people who are on welfare need it. It is a lot of 'work' to get on.

  3. Nothing if the teen is supported by parents that earn enough money to qualify as above the poverty line.  If the teen or family is considered impoverished (that would be less than $14,001 for a two-person household) , then the teen would get:

WIC - health care for the child until age 8, ob-gyn care for the mother until 6-9 months after delivery, free (or reduced) formula

    One set of parenting classes

Possibly food stamps if the application was made.

This is not enough to provide for a child, so basically the teen would also get into a high level of debt and the social stigma of being a teen mother.

  4. Food stamps...Thats about all.

  5. Depends on the income of the teens parent(s) or legal guardian really.  If the family is low income then the teen would get medical card which would cover the pregnancy and help with daycare costs.  If the teen was living on her own then she would maybe get foodstamps.  Sometimes they can get funds for schooling but they don't like get paid to have a baby as a teen no.

  6. Ahhh, my hard EARNED tax dollars at work!

  7. idk.

  8. TANF, welfare, subsidized housing, section 8, food stamps, WIC, medicaid, large tax deductions, etc.

Meanwhile, those of us who are responsible and didn't have children at the age of 16 get to work our butts off and lose $1 out of every $5 for taxes to support teenage parents with illegitimate kids.

    God bless America!

  9. They get health insurance and WIC - not much, this is def. not a reason to get pregnant. because of there age the income is based off their parents.

  10. They get to much to list!

  11. More taxes! You now have a dependent.

  12. You probably think Native Americans get that too. Grow up. I think you're thinking of Welfare.

  13. not true. Medicaid (spelling?) is all that I know of...but there is no "special benifits package" for pregnant teens. Its nothing looked nicely upon.

  14. They can get welfare...ebt...section 8... all that junk.

  15. They get some benefits from the government but I bet they have very unhappy lifes.

  16. google it it might help..........are you pregnant dude talk to your parents if you are and hurry before they find out on theyre own!!!!
