What kind of bike should i get to start with?

im 17 going to get my motorcycle license soon.Looking for a street bike.Should i get a new ? or Used ? bike to start out with .And what company do u think makes good bikes to look for.And will handling keeping the bike up be hard.Im 6'0" 173

I'm 6'2" 205 pounds, started riding last summer. I bought last year Kawasaki ZX6R. In 600 the king is Honda cbr 600 I just like Kawi motorcycle, believe me these 600 have plenty of power and speed, top speed is around 150 m\h and about 105 horsepower.

want to spent, new bike with everything going to run you around

$10,000.00, I saw my bike(same style) on EBay sold for $6,300.00 with 2000 miles on it. When you buy new there are no doubts that the bike is in great shape, used you newer know.

um i think the gsxr 750 will be perfect..but since your a starter perhaps one of these r6 zx6r or cbr dont get a 500cc or start with 600 trust me i did a lot of research they all say strt with 600cc with the 250 cc and 500cc ull be good for the first week then ur gonna need more power and  ur a big guy not fat but tall and big so get like a 600cc or a gsxr 750 tht my opinion
