  1. This bird is a type of Finch. i am not sure which one, but it's a Finch. Finches are small birds. They are harmless, and they are very beautiful. They are seen at bird feeders and in trees. They are located around the world. That finch in the picture looks like a type that eats large nuts, or seeds, due to his large bill, or beak. Below you will find more info on the types of finches.

  2. its a Finch. we have them too. we call then spotted belly finches (me and my family and the nieghbors) im not sure what the rest of the world calls them though ^_^

  3. These are Nutmeg Mannikins (also known as Spice Finch).  If you live in the U.S. these birds are non-natives that have formed wild populations from escaped pets.  I see them around the Los Angeles area from time to time.  Just saw a pair at a park 2 weeks ago.
