Question:

What kind of bird is this...?

I have no picture.

But it's a white-ish bird, with brown wings, and it looks like it has two tails when it's flying. I see them somewhat often but not really.

I live in Central Texas(Bell County).

  1. No one can answer your question if there is no photo.  Try and take a photo and post a link to it.

  3. I think it might be in the swallow family, if it has a forked tail.

  4. How big is it? There are all kinds of birds with scissor-tails.

  5. hmmm this is trick try to take a picture. I'm not really good with naming birds with out a picture... but I'm just guessing and its probably wrong but a sparrow?

  6. Do you mean that it has a forked tail?  Terns and swallows species have forked tails.  That is my best guess with this description.
