Sorry about the blunt question, I just need some suggestions since everyone I know keeps suggesting the same thing. So, I am just going to be frank.I have a huge problem with PMS. The birth control all of my friends are suggesting still lets you have your period once a month. I'm not sexually active at the moment, (and as far as I know I won't be anytime soon(, so the only reason I want to start using birth control is to control my PMS. What birth control will let me have as few periods as possible ?

  1. There's one out called seasonal. You have 4 periods a year. Your doc will be able to advise you more!! Good Luck!

  2. I use the copper iud which is good for up to 10 years. You can take it out at any time and you can't  even feel that its there. I love it b/c there isn't any hormones going thru your body it doesn't make you gain weight, and your guy friend wont even know its there.. It doesn't even hurt inserting, it is just like a pap smear exam.. Hope I was helpful..
