What kind of board should I use for a memory board at a funeral?

You can get a 2ft.by 4ft. piece of celotex that is used in suspended ceilings for just a few dollars and that works well.  Get it at the lumber yard or home improvement store.  We even put it in an old picture frame we had so it would hang.

I would go to an art supply store and get a large piece of matboard.  Get it in a color that will go with what you're doing.  If you're not sure what color to get, get a light grey.  That's very neutral and should go with whatever you're doing.  You can have it cut to a standard frame size (ask the frame dept. - they know the standard frame sizes) and have it put in a ready made frame.

You could also use a framed bulletin board.
