Go to the boat dealer they can show you many boats that will be fine with your Jeep. You can also put electric brakes on one axle of the tralor

u can get a 13footer skiff with a 90hp engine  ajon boat with a 90hp engine a basstracker with 75hp engine

Check out RIB inflatables - Zodiac, Avon, Achilles, Caribe and others ... your trailer will end up weighing nearly as much as the boat and you will have a very seaworthy boat.

Your answer will depend on if you want a sail boat or a powered boat.  An aluminum boat if it is a powered boat with a smaller outboard will weigh less than most fiberglass boats.  A bass tracker brand is a good boat.  The boat shows are coming up in most cities in the next month or two and I would suggest going to one close to you.  You can then pick up information on the boats.  Remember the trailer will add weight to your rig.  I recommend a good trailer as a cheap one may leave your boat stranded at the side of the road.

You could get a14 to 16 foot runabout with an outboard like a McKee Craft or even a small day sailer in the 18 - 20 foot range if you prefer sailing.  All of these would ramp lauch easily.
