  1. Science fiction romance really. I enjoyed it a great deal (I think the writing is better than the Twilight series too.)

  2. Its like a sci fi book, its not really romantic. Its kinda of boring. I still haven't finished it.

  3. It is romantic-ish...but not as romantic as stuff like Twilight...but...Stephenie Meyer herself has described it as "Science-fiction for those who don't like science-fiction" or something along those lines...its quite a good story and I don't find it boring at all...

  4. Its sort of a Sci-fi book but there is some romance in it, sort of a love triangle between two bodies, but three beings.

    Here's an overview

In this tantalizing SF thriller, planet-hopping parasites are inserting their silvery centipede selves into human brains, curing cancer, eliminating war and turning Earth into paradise. But some people want Earth back, warts and all, especially Melanie Stryder, who refuses to surrender, even after being captured in Chicago and becoming a host for a soul called Wanderer. Melanie uses her surviving brain cells to persuade Wanderer to help search for her loved ones in the Arizona desert. When the pair find Melanie's brother and her boyfriend in a hidden rebel cell led by her uncle, Wanderer is at first hated. Once the rebels accept Wanderer, whom they dub Wanda, Wanda's whole perspective on humanity changes. While the straightforward narrative is short on detail about the invasion and its stunning aftermath, it shines with romantic intrigue, especially when a love triangle (or quadrangle?!) develops for Wanda/Melanie.

Be warned that its really hard to get into and doesn't start to get really interesting until about 1/3 of the way in. Not alot of action until the end parts.

  5. i believe it is romantic, but it is also a sci-fi but it is a sci-fi for those who don't read science fiction, to paraphrase Ms. Meyer.

there is a love triangle of Wanderer, her host's mind Melanie and the love of Melanie's life Jared, who wanderer is in love with as well because she has been seeing Mel's memories. the book is all about Wanderer coming to terms with her human body and what it is to steal someone's body and erase there existence (except in Mel's case, she stays behind)

its different from twilight which i liked too

give it a chance the first few chapters are boring but it does get better

  6. sci-fi with a bit of romantiscism?
