  2. If they can read two, then Machiavelli's: The Prince, and Rousseau's: The Social Contract.

    They'll be thoroughly confused... Bwahahaha.

    The best book I ever read (as a woman and a wife) was called "For Women Only" by Shanti Feldhahn.

    It's hard to think of a good general book though, I would say the Bible, but it's too long, and not everyone would be up for that...

    Hmn.

    I suppose I haven't came up with a good general book, or I would have at least asked my husband to read it.
