  1. Avent bottles are the only ones I use.

  2. I started with Avent and gave my son colic/really bad gas! We switched to the playtex nursers and he loves them! The gas basically went away and no more fussing/colic! Plus they are BPA free!

  3. i love the playtex ventaire bottles

  4. baby is not here yet, but i am hoping to use the playtex drop ins.i have been advised that they are the best... they help prevent gas, easy clean up and bpa free. at first i was concerned about the cost of the liners, but then after thinking about it, it would be so worth it. and i guess the generic drop ins from walmart and target work just as well as the playtex and they are cheaper.

playtex has this whole milk storage kit too if your at all interested in breastfeeding..  i guess it is awesome cuz you store the milk right in the same liner that you use in the bottle.

heres a link for a free playtex drop in bottle. it takes a couple weeks to get it but it does work

people like dr brown because they supposedly are the best for gassy babies... the contain bpa, so i wouldnot use them just because of that. ive heard the drop ins work just as well for gassy babies

  5. My youngest son loves Avent and playtex drop in's. My son didn't like that others. With this baby I use avent more likey or playtex drop ins

  6. i use born free bottles and love em!

  7. My first child I tried avent bottles and he hated them as well as I did. If you didnt get the lid on right it would let the milk come down the side of the bottle. Also sometimes it would not allow my sons formula to come out of the nipple and I would have to go and fix the nipple. Then I tried the bottles that Wal-Mart makes. Which the brand was Parent Choice, and my son loved them and I kept on using them. With my second child I used the soothies bottles for her. They were the only brand that I could get her to take. But I love them so much that I would go to another brand. They are wonderful! They have a wide opening so it allows you to wash them so easy. And if you use the powder formula it has such a big opening you dont have to worry about spilling the powder everywhere. But every baby is different though... What one baby may take the other baby wont. If I were you I would not buy too many of one kind until you find the one that your baby will take. Hope this helps.

  8. We use the Dr. Browns and they are wonderful and awful.  A straw inside moves air into the back of the bottle so you never have nipple collapse on the bottle which I love.  However, there are 5 pieces to wash and you have to have a special bottle brush to clean certain pieces ( it comes with the bottles).  If you don't put it together right or if you fill it above the line it will spill out the sides.  Sometimes the milk comes up the straw for no apparent reason and spills out the side.  The bottle makes gurgling noises sometimes.  I bought them for my first child and will be using the playtex drop in's next baby.  They also prevent nipple collapse but you don't have to deal with the clean up

  9. We are using the playtex drop ins. They keep the baby from sucking lots of air. You do have to buy the liners but I think it is worth it. We tried the Playtex ventaires, I hated those. How do you mix formula well in them with that bottom piece sticking up?? My son loves the drop ins with the latex nipples. Good luck!

Also, I do buy generic drop ins at Target and I even wash and reuse them about once a day. I tried the Walmart ones and they smelled horrible like plastic or something strong. I took them back. Someone tell me how they used the Playtex Ventaires. I bought them and cant use them!

  10. we used the avent bottles for my niece and nephew. i have heard from a lot of people that the dr browns bottles aren't worth the price. i personally have seen a lot of different kinds as i do home daycare, and i think that the avent ones are my favorite.
