  1. I have those sucker fish (Plecostomus) in with my cichlids and they're doing really good.

  2. A plecostamus would be best.  Keep in mind they eat algae, not waste, so weekly cleaning and water changes are still necessary.  Of course, it depends on what type of cichlids and how large they are.  Also, the size of your tank.  A plecostamus will do well with almost all South American cichlids.  Clown loaches should also be okay.  They do best as a school when young, but solo when mature.

  3. pleco, syndatontis, pimodella

  4. try corys or kuli loaches.

  5. any kind of corys.  they tend to be ion the bottom and are very good with cichlids if they are not fin nippers

  6. A Plecostomus--eats algea, waste, and keeps your tank nice and clean. Also they can come in cool varieties like striped and such, grow to the approiate size of the tank.

Apple/Mystery Snail--are not asexual, so you will not have a million little baby snails running around,  and eat algea, not sure about fish waste. Get to be a pretty good size.

    Hope that helps.
