Hi. I found a bow at a garage sell recently and I don't know much about bows so I was wondering if anyone could help me decide what kind of bow string I needed and where I could find them. The bow is wooden and I'm pretty certain it's a recurve bow. Under the brand of the bow (coet) there are the markings 707-62". On the side near the grip of the bow there are the markings 07-33565 and under that 45xx-28".

  1. you can get strings here

you will need a 59 inch string

the markings mean that your bow is 62 inches long and has a 45 pound draw weight at 28 inches

  2. Like the first poster said, and make sure you order dacron strings unless you're sure that the limb tips are properly reinforced to use fastflight material.
