  1. well my sis was gona get braces and she realy wanted the invisible ones but it depends on the type your looking at the ones she wanted you put on and took off at night which arent to good ill make sure to let you no how they work if she gets those

  2. well i have a kind out braces that are traditional but they dont have the rubber things around each.. they are very effective :) i should them off in a month...even though ive had them for a while, for some people it only thats month...

they are called the damon system braces

type it in google or youtube :) check if you like them..

  3. I've never had braces, but 3 of my bestfriends have had them, and two of them still have got them! Theres loads of different colours you can get if you get the traditional ones, it all depends on your authodontist. The clear ones are best though, because sometimes the colorful ones can make your teeth look yellow.

  4. get traditional, they are better.

Get them before school, the sooner you get them, the soon they get off

    there are many colors

from black and green, to pink and orange.

    GOOD LUCK!!!!!!!!

  5. It's all up to what type you get.  Traditional braces usually allow you to get colors (every orthodontist's office has different colors, but there are usually at least 20 colors to choose from), but there is a thing called "self-ligating braces" that can often work faster than traditional braces that do not allow for colors --- but are different from the ceramic brackets too.  If you want your braces to be on for a shorter period of time, self-ligating brackets are the way to go... and the pain tends to be less with these, as there is less friction in the mouth against the teeth (also, less frequent appointments).

Get them before school starts if you want or just wait until after school starts - that is totally up to you.  They will hurt a bit when they first go on and you will eat lots of soft foods for the first couple of days to the first week, so if you think it would be better to do this over summer break... then get them on now.  Getting them on over the summer will give you a chance to get used to them.

When school starts though, you will have to start carrying a tooth brush with you to school because you will have to brush after you eat.

Bottom line, have fun with braces!
