What kind of brand is Avon?

I use Avon a lot because I have relatives who use it. Then I come to Australia I found no shops that sell Avon, I asked for Avon in a department store and the shop assistant had some interesting looks. And when I searched for Avon, it's all about sales representitives. So, what kind of brand is Avon? Is it as good as O'lreal, Nivea etc?

Avon is like Cover Girl and all those other cosmetics, only that when you find it in a store it is a store operated by an Avon Sales Rep.  It is usually sold through brochures and independent sales reps.  To find the nearest sales rep to you, go to www.avon.com.  I'm a sales rep but my on-line store will only let me ship in the states.

In Australia Avon sells through brochures and representatives.. not stores.. there's probably a number you could call to find someone near you.

I don't really know what kind of brand it is... it's fairly good but not as publicized as other brands i guess.

Avon is just another skin and make-up brand like Lorelle etc. However you can only get the stuff when you order out of brochures. You can't buy the stuff from shops. The make-up is slightly cheaper too but its just as good as other brands.

I use Avon too because I have a sales Representative that lives near me. I get a brochure delivered every 2-3 weeks.
