What kind of breakfest should someone with ADHD have to push up their energy?

I know this sounds a lil strange since most questions would probably be about how to reduce their energy but i find myself feeling extremely tired and lame during the morning and i'd like to do something about it, especially because i jog for 60 minutes on the treadmill (part of diet) and after doing that i always feel like just going to sleep, caffeine doesn't work on me and i'd like a combination something that lasts and can be easily and quickly made...

  1. well its always good to have protein with each meal. For sustained energy you need to eat healthy carbs. Whole wheat or 12 grain bread will give you long lasting energy to burn. Try two pieces of toast with a couple egg whites. Or sub butter for natural peanut butter.

  3. An egg mcmuffin kind of thing (homemade) and a glass of juice would be great. Also, coffee has been found to help those with ADD. Read Dr. Amen's book on ADD, it sheds some insight into how certain protein combos can help.

  6. Eat a well balanced breakfast and you should feel more energized. Breakfast is the most important meal of the day you know ;)

    You could also try those energy boost milkshakes (they sell them in the grocery store but i cannot remember the brand name) or try looking into it more online.  

  7. Well I just learned that potassium helps with muscle fatigue, so make sure you're eating bananas.  Make a banana milkshake:

    throw in a handful of ice,  break up two bananas, add some vanilla or strawberry yogurt, a spoonful of sugar and cover it all with milk.  Blend well for 2 minutes.

  8. Have protein.  4 egg white cheese omelette or steak and eggs.
