What kind of bug leave a black spots behind?

In the morning I find one or two groupings of little black spots on my counter. I spray cleaner on them and they desolve and clean right up. However I do not know what is leaving them behind.

Roaches do too. Black and gooey. Bleh! Just bomb the house or spray some bug spray around the baseboards and  the windows to get them while they re creeping about at night.

It could be cockroaches.Sneak out in the night well after the lights have been out and you should catch them in the act.
