It was in the corner of my room and i was about to vaccum my carpet when i saw this black thing on the ground and i tried to pick it and it started moving! it was black and squirmy, and it felt like a worm, but reminded me of a leach. And when i was about to suck it up the vaccum hose, it wriggled into the carpet and it disappeared. using gloves, i seperated the area of the carpet that the bug was in and it wasn't there so i got freaked and i just started vaccuming that area for like..twenty minutes! can anyone help me figure out what it was so i can like..get rid of it or prevent more from coming?!
