at 50k almost any business would be severely under-capitalized.

the businesses that you could do won't offer very impressive returns, and would all include significant risk.

but why is your goal just to have a business?  having a business should be something you do AFTER you recognize a market opportunity that you can exploit.

Just 45 minutes ago you were asking for private lenders to give you a $50k loan. Since you say you have fair credit and you make $5,000 a month I suggest you contact your local bank and secure a loan from there. Nobody on YA will be stupid enough to fall for your childish scam.

With that amount of capital I would suggest a yard maintenance route or pool cleaning service. You could also try a mobile car washing service. A gift basket service if started slowly. I have bought and sold start up services like this and if your energetic you can start your own with that amount of money.

Be it the food business, clothing, electronics, even buying and selling securities as a business--If you do not know the business that you are investing your money in, you might as well give your money to charity.
