What kind of cable do I need to conect a satellite dish to a receiver? What is the limit of cable length?

  1. On a single-unit LNB you can run RG-6 ....on Dual LNBs you really need the special cable from the satellite dealer....

    I know they limit the length to 200 feet or less.....


  2. RG6 and this is the coax that satellite companies use including HD.

  3. You need a good quality Coaxial cable. I am not sure about the limit but I had a friend running approximately 100 feet without issues.
