  1. Ask the dealer for a S VIDEO CABLE. there is a s video port on the notebook and the televison plug it in and then go the the quick play and configure it.

  2. Newegg.com will have everything you need.

The highest quality will be gained from either an HDMI cable or (more than likely the output your video card has) a DVI cable.

The only difference between HDMI and DVI (besides the shape of the plug) is that HDMI carries audio signal and DVI does not.

They make DVI to HDMI converters, however, you'll have to run a few separate wires (should be included in instructions with the adapter) to get the sound to play through your television speakers.

A bit more research online will get you the answers you seek.

  3. Go to Monoprice, and get a DVI -> HDMI cable. If you don't have a DVI out, go pick up a cheap video card like A Radeon HD3450 or 8400GS for 30$.

15 footer extra thick run for just 15$ plus shipping. Short runs of thin cabling are more like 5$ at that site. The quality's fine, and in any case, digital signals are either perfect or useless, so there's no point on splurging on cabling.

  4. If you want to use Media center, just buy a media center extender.

If you want the TV to show what you see, K use an S-video, but DVI to HDMI is the best for performance and you don't need another card in your computer.

  5. Just get a HDMI to DVI cable from CableTrain.com for about $5.00 and your all set. Just make sure your graphics card has DVI.
