  1. I use Sony HDR-CX7 - HD camcorder, which write to the memory stick card.

    Recording and Playback Times

When using 4GB Memory Stick PRO Duo™ Media (sold separately): High Definition: XP = up to 30 min., HQ = up to 55 min., SP = up to 65 min., LP = up to 85 min. Standard Definition: HQ = up to 55 min., SP = up to 80 min., LP = up to 160 min.

For 8gb - double the above.

Battery lasts up to 5 hours.

The quality of HD rivals Blu-Ray quality.  And you can simply stick the memory into PS3, and watch it (or copy it ot the internal or eternal Harddrive).

You can edit videos with packaged software or Mac iMovie.

  2. You could also try having a quick look at this site... http://www.deal-eh.ca/models.aspx?cat=Ca... really handy for when trying to compare products and prices.  Some really nice deals too :)
