What kind of camera/camcorder should i by?

DO NOT get a sony. Ive had to return two. I would suggest polaroid, it has never failed me, and the digi cameras are cheap too!

Get a Sony Cybershot!  It is the best Camera.  It is about $300.  But I love it!  It is so great.  It has a touch screen and you can edit your pics right on the screen (without plugging it into the computer!).  It is so awesome!

If your very particular on still picture quality, get a photo camera - Nikon, Canon brands are up, that's what these cameras are designed to do. Most video camcorders do shoot stills too but would never equal the quality. Likewise, a digicam would shoot better stills possibly, but may not equal vcams on video.

The type of camera you buy depends on what you want to do with the camcorder. There are professional camcorders specially made for professional work.
