What kind of camera can take like 8 to 10 pictures a second

I go Snowboarding and I want to take series of pics of my group getting air and hitting rails, what kind of cameras can do that for a moderate price and what is that feature called

How do you define "moderate price"? The Nikon D300 and D700 can get you 8 fps w/ MB-D10 attached. Nikon D3 can get you 9 fps to 11.

That kind of performance and "moderate" price do NOT go together.

Any camera and lens combination that can do that well is going to be in the $2000 + range, probably a lot more.

Higher end slrs and dslrs will take 8 frames per second (fps), low end ones like the canon xti take 3 fps.

Only one I know is the Canon Mark III that does 10 fps. But it's about $4000.
