The more specific you can be the better but any advice would really help.. on the whole process. I have mostly been looking at cameras that record to internal hard drives (HDD) but when I look at all the software that converts videos into .FLV format the software doesnt say it can convert from HDD camera format to .flv, but know hardly anything about this so any help would be much apreciated on recording and creating flv files

  2. The key is the Software - not the camcorder.

The Flash video format is owned by Adobe.  You can purchase Adobe Flash for a very affordable price, but it can have a steep learning curve depending upon what want to do.

The real question is:  why do you need to use the flash video format?  The only groups that still use the flv video format on a large scale are video sharing websites.  If you are looking for a camcorder based on uploading video to a video sharing website like YouTube, any camcorder will do.  You can upload standard video formats like mov, mp4, and wmv; and the video site converts it to their flv format automatically.  All the video sharing websites use a similar process, so it does not matter what format your camcorder or your editing program uses.  The video sharing site will probably accept it.
