You can do this with any digicam and the right software.  you can also check out HOLGAs and other cameras used for Lomography (cheap $30 plastic cameras, though, on the expensive side since you still need to buy film, then have it scanned)

Even if you can't do it with the camera, there are programs where you can change color to B+W and to sepia tone and

coloring book and etc, etc.

My Canon Rebel XTi SLR has a black and white setting in addition to adjustable ISO speed.Get some period clothing and you'll be all set.Our photo printer can print them almost as fast as you take them.
