What kind of car amp do i need?

I am going to be buying 2 12" 800 watt each kicker comp vr subwoofers (specs at www.kicker.com) for my truck and i would like to know what kind of amp i would need im pretty sure i need a 1600 watt 2 channel but im not for shore, and i dont plan on bridging the wires either... So could someone help and if you have any other questions let me know...

Each of your subs is rated for 400rms. If you aren't bridging them together, buy around a 1500w 2 channel amp that has around 350-400 rms and you will be fine.

i have this amp with a pair of kicker comps 12s and they slam i mean  if you want to show out an be loud this is the way to go
