What kind of car audio amplifier to use with my subwoofer?

I am wondering what kind of Rockford Fosgate amplifier would go best with a single 12 inch 2008 Kicker Solobaric L7 4-ohm subwoofer?

  1. a monoblock that puts out the rms wattage the speaker requires...a 2 ohms if its a dual 4 ohm or at 4 ohms if its a single 4 ohm


  2. T500-1bd or P1000-1bd... the cheapest and closest to the sub's RMS power handling.
