What kind of car do you think I can afford?

Hello, I got bitten by a dog when in my childhood and my parents sued for $100,000, so when I turn 18 yrs. old I get the money, but only like $2,000 a month, so I wont be taxed hard. I am planning on buying a car , but I dont know what kind of car I should get and what kind of car I can afford. I really like sports cars, muscle and luxury cars too. Also SUV's and trucks..Thank you

If i was getting $2,000 a month, i'd go buy a lightly used G35 Sport Coupe. That money should cover your car payment, insurance and gas. But it really depends on how much of that money you actually want to spend. I like the G35 because it has the perfect balance of luxury and performance if you ask me.

go on Craigslist buy a cheap car that gets good gas mileage then start saving money to get a House forget the brand new car it is overrated. I have bough 2 cars on craiugs list on is a 93 ford escort it gets 33 mile per gallon and a 97 Mitsubishi Galant that gets 30 miles to the gallon.  I payed 750 for each car and i dont have to pay for full coverage forget the loans and all that.  save money for a home with in the next year and a half u will have saved enough money to pay 20 percent down on a 100000 dollar house then you are well on your way to finacial stability.

It is hard to say not knowing what other income you have. Maybe have a chat with a financial advisor so you can discuss investing some of the money for a future home or vacations. Are you going on to school? Perhaps it would be nice to not have a job while you go and use that money as an income. In any case there are financial advisors at banks that I am sure would be very helpful. (I love the Nisson Altima Coupe)

and unfortunately every one of those cars is a gas hog!! you need something that is good on gas like a honda civic..
