  1. Most of the time you will need a commercial auto policy to deliver pizza.  It could very well be that your parent's auto policy excludes deliveries.  This means their insurance company can deny any claim that results while the vehicle is being used for deliveries or worse, because it is used for deliveries, deny any claim on that vehicle, even if it is just being used for pleasure at the time of an accident.  The only way to find out is to call their insurance.  SOME companies MAY allow for the business use rate, but you have to be completely honest how the vehicle is being used.

The guy at the pizza place doesn't know the answer, the only place that does is your parents agent or insurance company.

  2. Um, most likely, your parent's PERSONAL auto policy has an EXCLUSION in it, for delivering for a fee - including pizza delivery.  Regardless of what the insurance card says, I've seen a LOT of claims denied by a personal insurance company, while the kid was delivering pizza.

YOu really, really need to talk to your agent - or your parents agent.  TECHNICALLY, you need a commercial policy, classed "retail", to be covered delivering pizza.  It's the second most expensive policy there is (public livery being the most expensive).

  3. http://autoinsurance.undonet.com - try this company. I have their car insurance.

As I know they have pretty cheap plans for small business usage of personal cars.

  4. call geico.com
