What kind of car should I get my Sister?

Question

She is getting her permit and I want her to have a good vehicle while I am away in the military, this is going to be my car to butt mainly for her. This will be her first Vehicle. And I really don't want to pay over $6000 because I'm paying cash for it? what should I get ?be specific?

honda civic 2002 to 2005

good gas mileages.

safety.

cheap maintenance cost.

never seen any problems with it.

good and small for a girl.

handling well if she's not a racer.it's great!

well, the Hyundai Elantra 2008 is just what my mom got and is very fuel efficient.  But under 6000...hmmm...first decide what type of car

do you want a car, van suv?

2 door/4 four?

seat belt number?

but i do recommend the brand Hyundai.  VERY FUEL EFFICIENT!  which will save you in the long run.  But then again it's her first car.

look up scions or ford if you wanna b cheap. the scions are all around 15 grand. look at used hondas, they last for years with minimal problems. volvo is also good and lives forever.

Hmm, I would take her around and let her give you some ideas she likes.

Then you can come back to the car/s later, and then make your ultimate decision.

Think about it, probably needs an automatic and something that is not big.. and needs to not have alot of components to be engaged with while driving... oh and, she probably needs her license to drive it by herself as well

Hondas are reliable and hold their resale value very well and they get great gas mileage. With gas $4 a gallon you will want something economical. the Honda Civic is very popular.
