What kind of card do you send an interviewer after an interview?

I have an interview friday and I've never sent a thank you card before but have read I should. This is the first "career" type job I'm interviewing for so I want to do it right!! What kind of thank you card do I send my interviewer and what do I say in it? What would be appropriate and what would just be weird? THANKS!!

I would just write a letter, a card isn't formal enough. Just tell them thank you for their time and and consideration and that you hope to hear from them soon but if not you hope that they will consider you for future employment opportunities.

I would prefer to Thank him personally rather then sending him a card. Tell him what u learnt from him and just say what u feel rather then a card... make sure he selects u for the job before u send him the card
