Hi everyone. I've been thinking about what kind of career I want. I have much interest in foreign policy and economics. I also am interested in human rights. What career would you suggest for me; I would like to have a career that can somehow include all 3 of them. I'm sorry if it sounds 'idealistic. I just have many interests.

I'm interested to see what you think as well. Thank you for your input! I appreciate it :D.

  1. Perhaps development economist.  Study how low income countries can become industrialized.  It would allow you to pursue economics, foreign policy, because developing countries have to compete in a globalized world, and human rights, because good governance and rights are closely tied with economic development.

Or perhaps a job at the UN, World Bank, or IMF.  Or a job at an NGO that matches your interest.  Or a position in the US government that deals with developing countries.
