  5. Advocacy, working for a Regional Center helping families with children with disabilities find services, Director of a center, a social worker, foster parent, special education, CPS worker... all kinds of doors open up in regards to working with children.

  6. Early childhood degrees really lend themselves to childcare (in the public or private sector) and Pre-K through 3rd grade teaching depending on the level of the degree (Associates, Bachelors, Masters).  You can also work with special needs kids in a more one on one setting.  Some social services positions could also use this degree, such as family services workers, family court social workers, and individuals working with children in custody visitation centers.

  7. Look up Montessori schooling. It's awesome. Teachers have more room to be creative, and so do kids!
