I have this male cat, and his name is Bella. I've always wondered what breed he is, and have always thought Blue Point Ragdoll.(he looks very similar to pictures I've seen of them, just smaller)

He apparently was the runt of the litter, as he's very small but his fur makes him look like he's huge. He weighs about 4-5 pounds.

  1. To me it appears to be a mixed breed  cat. If you think its purebred  you might ask its previous owner.

I had some persian mix kittens that looked a lot like that.   If the eyes are blue as they appear to be it could be a siamese x himilayan x  tabby mix or some other breeds mixed its really hard to tell without  paperwork from the breeder.  The hair isn't as long or as thick as the purebred persian i had.

  2. Most likely a mix of breeds. If you didn't get him from a breeder, you can't really claim him as any breed anyway. Just love him for being pretty and don't worry about it.

My guess is Siamese and a white angora.

  3. Looks like the birman breed of cat.

  4. Ragdoll, Siberian or Siamese

  5. Also looks Himalayan, but Ragdoll sounds right too.  Regardless, he's adorable. :)

  6. Bella is a Siamese kitty, wow he is cute.

  7. Blue Point Ragdoll: http://image30.webshots.com/30/3/43/43/2...

Ragdolls are large, bulky and handsome cats. They have been commonly referred to as "the gentle giants" - because in spite of their handsomeness and grace, they are extremely even-tempered and docile.

    or a

    Persian:  http://www.flickr.com/photos/54133554@N0...

A show-quality Persian has an extremely long thick coat, short legs, a wide head with the ears set far apart, large eyes, and an extremely foreshortened muzzle. The breed was originally established with a short (but not non-existent) muzzle, but over time this feature has become extremely exaggerated, particularly in North America, and Persians with the more extreme brachycelphalic head type are prone to a number of health problems (specifically affecting their sinuses and breathing) caused by it. However, conscientious breeders eliminate this by careful choice of breeding stock with more moderate head type, as the goal is first and always healthy cats.

  8. I think you are right. It might also be a persian-sealpoint mix,or even ragdoll-siamese mix. What ever it is he is gorgeous!! Enjoy this beauty!!

  9. blue or lavender point Himalayan--very sweet cat.  I have a male flame point.  I will never own another breed--best personality I have ever seen

  10. I can say that it isn't a himalayan I have one and I've looked at alot of them and its not but he does look alot like one. probably a ragdoll or something like it. sorry if that doesn't help.
