What kind of catepillar is this?

the catepillar is slashed green , he is eaten about 25 percent of the tomatoe on my tomatoe plant he has a little red stinger looking thing on the other end.

It is called a "tomatoe hornworm"..Heres a picture ..they can literally eat a plant up in a couple days
