What kind of cell phone should I get?

Hey, well my mom is going to take me to get my very first cell phone ever:)

So I was just wondering if anyone recommended any kind of type of cell phone, like the styles. I want something that's pretty but that won't say go out of style in like a few months.

Money isn't really an issue since my mom says that I can choose whichever one I want, but I don't want to get like the most super expensive cell phone ever or anything. I just want something that looks cool, is worth the money, and that is a good buy. I was just wondering what were your suggestions. And it would be cool if you could like have links to pictures. Like what does your cell phone look like? Oh yeah, I think that we're gonna get it from like T mobile. I think. Thanks!

An AT and T Sony Ericson i just got one and it is a grate phone

If you're for sure getting T Mobile I would get the Sidekick LX or the Samsung Beat.

If you're getting Verizon Wireless I would get the enV2 or the Voyager.

If you're getting At&t i would get the Sony Ericcson.

If you're getting Sprint I would get the Rumor.

This all depends on your phone budget though. :)

well defiantly go with Verizon their the best. I would get the samsung juke. I have this fone and have dropped it many times and it has not broke and its small and is able to fit in clutches. Plus its a mp3 player.

The best part is you can put songs from limewire on it.

i have the lg rumor in blue.

&+ it's great if you'll be texting alot.

heres some tips not to get:

- touchscreen phones. they seem cool. but they break really easily and you can't always touch what you want; they're aggravating. lol.

- a cheap flip phone. they break easy too. and flip phones are really in anymore.

a slide phones your best bet. they're cute; in style; and the ones with the slide keyboards are easy to text with.

ok get a verizon wirless its the best

go to best buy and see' if they have the juke it sooo kool its and mp3 player\phone you could use it even wthput head phone aND IT KOOL HERE IS A PIC

I've been looking at the T-Mobile dash for quite a while. I'm a big fan of those smart phones, and have always wanted a wifi phone for when I am bored at work or school. Plus, it got a decent rating at cnet, and you can find them cheap on ebay.

I really wanted a blackberry for a while too... but I've known people in the past that have had problems with blackberries. They would make unintentional phone calls while it was in someone's pocket, purse, bag, and sometimes even in its case. The sidekicks, while a good choice for looking cool and trendy, actually big and cumbersome I've been told. I'm not sure about the new ones, but the last models weren't all that hot.
