What kind of changes can we expect from the Democrats since

2006 things have changed quite a bit for the worse

A one person majority in the Senate and you seriously expect Democrats to be able to get legislation through?  Don't you know just to force a vote requires 60?  On top of this you expect them to be able to override a republican presidential veto?  Seriously?  Wow.

Republican Trent Lott said after '06 elections that they should filibuster everything substantive democrats put forth so they will be seen as a do-nothing party in congress.  And guess what?  This congress has had the most filibusters in the history of our country.

Blame republicans for choosing partisan politics over the people.  Almost every single bill that passed the Senate since '06 was inititated by republicans because democrats were willing to work with them.  You need to do a little more research.  I think the democrats suck at political posturing and threats and it hurts the party, but let's put the blame where it belongs.

MORE INSANE GRIDLOCK. THAT IS ALL BOTH PARTIES UNDERSTAND. ITS LIKE LITTLE KIDS PLAYING IN A SAND BOX. THEY WOULD BOTH RATHER THROW SAND IN EACH OTHER'S FACE THAN DO THE COUNTRY'S THING. COMPROMISE HAS BEEN REPLACED BY SELF CENTERED PARTISANSHIP THAT WILL LEAD THIS NATION TO ITS DOOM.

There will be no change. There never has been a change so why would anybody expect one? It will be business as usual no matter who gets in to office.

The change that I would like to see would be the Democrat Party to become the party that it used to be. Remember John Kennedy's inaugural speech"Ask not what your country can do for you rather ask what you can do for your country."  If he was alive to-day and made the same speech I wonder what would happen,
