What kind of class is humanities?

i'm taking it this semester. what should i expect? Tips?

Here in Australia, Humanities is not a subject. Rather, it is one of two groups of subjects. The first is Humanities, and the other is Mathematics, Sciences and Technology.

Humanities here are the Arts- Drama, Art, Music,  it includes Languages, History, Society and Environment, Geography and Business Studies, as well and Legal studies.

The class you are going to have should contain some of these elements. Otherwise it wouldn't really be humanities if it isn't exploring the world and culture, etc.
