  1. Singing is something I personally feel, a child should be made to take interest in! The earlier the better! It soothes the mind and automatically cultivates goodness in you.

  2. Library story hour; some book stores have them as well, arts and crafts, dance, swim, gymnastic's classes and so on.

    All with parent participation ofcourse, he is only a baby, play along with him.

  3. Learning through play is the only suitable answer.  If you are a working mom, find a daycare center that does NOT park the children in front of a TV or videos, give worksheets or coloring books, or simply turn them loose in a room full of toys with minimal supervision.  There should be lots of interaction between the adults and the children, such as reading stories, acting out parts of stories, making simple crafts (best if related to favorite stories or an upcoming holiday so that it's meaningful), occasional field trips, counting things, etc.  If you are able to do these types of activities with your child (rather than putting him in daycare) that would be much better, but would be difficult most days if you are working full-time.. If you're not working full-time outside of the home, you could enroll him in "mommy and me" activities such as swimming, music, or gymnastics (not all at once), and visit your local library for story time.  Take him places such as parks, museums, aquarium, suitable drama productions, an orchestra concert, etc.  and keep in mind that talking with him about all these experiences is the real key to learning.

  4. hi ur child is too small, if u r working u don't have any place to leave the child then put the child to chreach. there they will give food & make the child sleep after coming form the school. then in the evening they will teach some rhymes & give some games to child to play.

    there is lot to learn dont put much presure on child this is the age where child can play & spend the time happly. after 2 yrs they have to study no time to play..............

    let the child enjoy................................

  5. Just three years.  Don't burden him by putting too much on his tender mind and body.  Nature itself is a good teacher.  Let him play, sing and learn about his family and surroundings.

  6. First and foremost don't listen to what others say about your choice to want to school your kid. It is very mportant to teach your children the fundamentals of learning at an early age. They retain knowledge a lot easier and faster. When my son was that age I concentrated on reading, math and language classes.

    I learned that Barnes and Noble has an awesome childrens' section that can be used to supplement what your child is taught in those classes. I would definitely concentrate on reading and math though. You can do a web search for 'kindergarten sight words'. These are the same words that they will teach your child in kindergarten to begin the reading process. (Note: I live in Georgia and it was mandatory for my son to know at least 114 words to pass to the 1st grade...so the earlier the better I say)

    The results: My son is 7 and will start the second grade this fall. Last year he tested above average (850+ on a median scale of 500) in reading, math, writing and science on the state test to pass into the second grade. This is his 6th year learning spanish (onto the writing stage now, he speaks it fluently) and his 4th year of French. He reads on a 4th grade level, does math and science on the 3rd grade median level and reads on the 4th grade level. He is part of the Gifted Program for Georgia Kids and attends a school on the AmeriTeach program (2 years curriculum covered in 1 year).

    I say do anything you can to promote learning in your child...that is their only job in life (as a child)...to learn and be educated! IT IS NEVER TO EARLY TO START LEARNING!

  7. I have a three year old son and goes to preschool. Apart from that we have put him in swimming though that is a toddler pool and will graduate to bigger pool only next year but his fear for water has gone. He is also getting taught yoga by his grand father every morning and he has picked up couple of aasans good for kids.

    Other things that you can put him in drawing class.
