  1. Graphic arts classes

    Drafting Classes (CAD)

    Any type of art classes

    Photography

    Carpentry

Basically anything that deals or relates to art and architecture because art is very closely related to architecture

oh of course precalc, geometry and physics

  2. My friend who is going off to college to be an architect right now took CAD, Computer Aided Drafting, at the local tech school.  Apparently it's the program that most architects use.

Also, art looks good on a transcript.

  3. Computer aided design, geometry, trigo-Nah, who am I kidding. You'll never become an architect. Just give up on your dreams because you are a pathetic idiotic failure that asks questions about their future career on Yahoo Answers. Just do yourself a favor and jump off the Empire State Building.

  4. lots of math, science and technical drawing/drafting

  5. Definitely focus on art and improving your freehand drawing. Work on building a strong portfolio (of drawings and other artwork) as many design-based programs will require one for admission, and because as an architect you will do a lot of drawing and sketching. Its good to be proficient in math and science, but you'll take all the courses you need in it in college. Take advanced math or science classes in high school if it will help you get college credit or prepare you for a class that you know you'll need in college. Definitely work on public speaking! In architecture, the career and the education, it's really important to be able to communicate and to be confident at presenting and defending your ideas (and being able to face criticism!)

It also wouldn't hurt to read up on architecture, past and present, and pick a few favorites or at least get an idea of what's out there. Good luck with everything!
