  1. made in vietnam

  2. they wear the same clothe as us American but not as nice

  3. basiclly the same as we do

  4. People in Vietnam wear the same things people in other western countries are wearing, especially in their everyday life.  For example, the street of Saigon would now be full of jeans, shirts, t-shirts, shorts, etc.  More men there wear formal shirts and uniforms to work than in other western countries.

For traditional events, Vietnamese people, especially women/girls and older generation, would wear traditional attires.  For example, "ao dai" (long dress) is a well-known traditional dress for women/girls.  Many schools (middle/high schools) might also have dressing code where girls would wear "ao dai" and boys would wear white shirt + blue/black trousers to school.

In some mountain areas, there are also minority people (tribes) with their own traditional clothes, but one would have to travel there to see these.

  5. when i was there, style = location. in the larger cities, clothes of a European or American style. a lot of the ladies wore ao dai, kinda like pajama bottoms, with a tight fitting, long sleeve dress, that had the sides split to the waist. in rural areas, male and female wore something that looked like black, long sleeve pajamas. true uni s*x creation. course, some of the girls wore ao dai. but this was way back in 1965-66. the montain yard men wore loin cloth and a shirt, women wore wrap around skirt and no top
