I am a pretty good golfer. I am about to be a freshmen in high school and I need to get new clubs. I am willing to spend as much as i want. I need forgiveness and I like thin irons relitively.

  1. I would get any brand. ex. Acuity

    1 Driver  3Wood  5Wood  3I Hybrid  4I Hybrid  5,6,7,8,9,Irons

    PW,SW, a 56 or 60, And a Putter

  2. titleist ap1 irons...forgiving but still really good

  3. i agree with cisco

  4. Taylor Made os7

  5. get drugs 100% healty

  6. Nike Irons are getting a lot better but u can't get much better than Mizuno irons

  7. Go down to your best golf store and ask them what you want. I dought online would give you the best answer and if your going to pay any price...

  8. If you can solidly strike a golf ball with a club, then you can play with any club on the market...once it's customed to your specs of course.  That being said, pick a brand you like and style that's appealing to the eye and from a store you trust.

Remember, it's the player (his swing, desire and work ethic) not the clubs that make great players.  Don't be the player going to golf shows searching for the latest (and advertised as the greatest) golf clubs year after year.

    Hope this helps.

  9. Check out Rock Bottom Golf's selection of iron sets. They've got a lot of Adams irons at really good prices, and I'm a big fan of the Adams line.

If you find something you like there, take 10% off with the coupon Slick10Off during checkout.

  10. Since you mention about "Thin Irons" buddy go for Blades Irons,.

    Ex: Titleist, Mizuno, Cleveland....

  11. i think you should get a callaway or wilson set or even a slazenger set, there all really good makes and being a golfer my self for 7years ive found that the wilson irons and callaway woods are the best conbination. the wilson irons have got to be the most forgiving set ive ever used. best of lucjk m8.

  12. many "better" players like Titleist irons for the feel, and forgiveness without sacrificing playability. Go get fitted and demo as many clubs as you can.

  13. Handicap level would be nice to know.  Try Mizuno MX25.  Game improvement iron.  Mizuno makes excellent irons.  Other options:  Ping G10, Wilson Ci7, and Titleist AP1.

  14. Go to Golfsmith.com.  They will direct you to the nearest store in your area or help you on line or telephone.  These people are highly trained in the golf industry.  They will have better suggestions for you than any of us, because we don't know anything about your game.  you can even try out clubs at their indoor range before you buy them.
