I heard drinking coffee burns your calories somehow?

Say I go to a Starbucks.

What should I order that is low fat and will help with weight loss?

  2. leave the coffee alone......... water is better for you and will help with the weight loss, and no matter what anyone else tells you, there is no such thing as fat free milk.

  4. As long as you don't put milk or sugar in your coffee, any will do just fine. Unsweetened black coffee has virtually no calories .

    Coffee in itself will not necessarily help you lose weight, but if you drink black coffee instead of sodas or sweetened coffee, you can significantly reduce your calory intake.

    The caffeine in coffee will slightly speed up your metabolism, but not enough to make you lose much weight.

  7. Green tea is going to do more for you--it's got caffeine, speeds up your fat burning, suppresses your appetite, and is chock-full of antioxidants and good stuff.

    If you're drinking coffee, though, get black.  Coffee by itself isn't bad for you, as long as you're not drinking too much, and even has some health benefits (antioxadants, ie).  It's the c**p added to coffee--sugar, fake sweetners, syrups, and especially milk--that will up the calories and fat, and make you crave sugary stuff.

    If you can't live without milk and sweetner, get a nonfat vanilla latte, not skinny.  A -little- sugar (or even syrup) is better for you than artificial sweetners.

    But try some green tea first.  I like Zhena's Gypsy Teas.  My favorite, Grand Green, comes sweetened with stevia.

  9. well id say just drink green tea, its got natural caffine and it is aids in weight loss give it a shot of lemon for flavor and youre set

  10. i would drink a skinny latte with sweetner and equadorian cocoa beans, as the consumption of these can burn calories... you should also ask for deoxygenated filtered water to make sure that there are no impurities in your drink, that could be what is causing you to pile on the pounds!

  12. The caffeine can help boost your metabolism. Coffee is really good for you anyway (lots of antioxidants). Drink black coffee. It is 99% water and has 0 calories.

    One cup should be good enough. Although having about three isnt bad either (according to readers digest). Just dont over do it. Drink a little coffee and plenty of water!!

  13. I recommend giving up the coffee entirely, water will help you way more if you're wanting to lose weight and be healthier.
