GPA is just one factor of getting into college. Colleges also look at standardized test scores (ACT, SAT), activities, essays, etc. If those things are great than it can balance out a less than great GPA. However, if you want to get into a "really good" college, as in a top 50 school, a 3.2 GPA probably won't cut it. Most of the people applying to really great schools have excellent GPAs and other credentials. If your goal is to graduate from an excellent school, go to community college or a 4-year university that you get into, get really great grades and try and transfer. Good Luck!
